AT&T NCAA FINAL FOUR STOREFRONT

Brightline Interactive partnered with Pearl Media to create a digital storefront for AT&T to support their partnership with the 2014 Men’s Basketball Tournament. A traditional storefront was turned into an eye catching area by adding 8’ screens and gesture sensors to create an experience that stopped and immersed those just walking down the street. Those walking by the storefront triggered a sensor which prompted a 3D basketball player to follow them the length of the screen while dribbling a ball.

“To support their partnership with the 2014 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Dallas, AT&T wanted an interactive experience to disrupt fans and engage them with their brand.

Brightline Interactive partnered with Pearl Media to create a digital storefront for AT&T, taking a high foot-traffic storefront and adding 8’ screens and gesture sensors to create an experience that stopped and engaged the core target audience. Those walking by the storefront triggered a sensor which prompted a 3D basketball player to follow them the length of the screen while dribbling a ball.

The gesture sensor allowed the 3D figure to follow the consumers in all directions, dribbling closer if they backed away, backing up if they moved forward and performing a crossover dribble when changing directions to the left or right. After a full 15-second interaction, the figure turns around toward a basket and dunks the ball which immediately leads into a branded video.”
